Mr. Raouf Riahi is an accomplished and experienced consultant who specializes in business continuity and crisis management. He has collaborated with numerous international organizations, including those funded by USAID, CIPRES, and a variety of organizations across different sectors, such as financial institutions, social protection entities, oil and gas, defense and security, public administration, and IT companies. Raouf is highly skilled in establishing and reviewing business continuity plans and programs, having implemented over 10,000 hours of BCPs. He is a certified PECB trainer and a recognized instructor by both the Tunisian National Center for Professional Development and Marjason Consulting DWC-LLC. Furthermore, with over 20 years of experience in training, Raouf is well-versed in various disciplines, including crisis management, organizational and operational resilience, emergency management, hostile environment awareness training, safety and security awareness programs, fleet management, safe driver programs, guard force management programs, and workplace violence and bullying. Additionally, he is an expert in conducting emergency and crisis management team exercises. Mr. Riahi is also a founding member of the consortium initiative (African Experts Consortium) and occupies a top-level management position within our consortium. He has extensive and diverse experience in Africa and various other regions across the world.

Raouf is an effective communicator who can communicate with senior government officials, Ambassadors, and COPs/Program Leaders on a range of business continuity, risk management, crisis management, and security issues. He has worked directly with CEOs and other industry leaders, supporting both business goals and operational planning. He balances tact and diplomacy with frank and forthright assessments and encourages a collaborative approach to gain buy-in at all levels.

Raouf has worked with different partners in various countries such as the USA, France, Italy, Canada, UAE, Greece, Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Benin, Togo, Côte d’Ivoire, South Africa, and others. He has worked with various sectors, including government, military, maritime and port authorities, the oil and gas sector, NGOs, international commercial organizations, education, health, social security, insurance, IT, and financial fields.

Raouf is a member of the Business Continuity Institute (BCI), PECB ISO 22301 Senior Lead Implementer and Trainer, PECB ISO 21502 Senior Lead Project Manager and Trainer, winner of the BCI Africa awards 2021 and 2022. He is also the Vice Chair of the BCI North and West Africa Chapter and member of the International Association of Professionals in Humanitarian Assistance and Protection (PHAP) and is a speaker at the national and international levels: this includes the BCI World Horizons international Conference 2021 and 2022; the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN); and for universities and schools. He is the author of more than 30 articles on business continuity and resilience topics.
