Bio:

Mr. Altayib Abukassawi is experienced in digital strategy and transformation with a demonstrated history of working in government administration, and financial technology, and also teaching university students various ICT courses. Skilled in Oracle Database, Enterprise Software, ITIL, Balanced Scorecard, and IT Strategy. Strong in business development, excellence, and strategic management professional with a Postgraduate Diploma & M.Sc. in IT focused on e-Business from the International Institute of Information Technology, Pune, India & Sudan University of Science and Technology, Khartoum, Sudan.
Mr. Abukassawi held the position of Director General for the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning’s General Directorate of Information and Communication Technology. The development of Ministry ICT strategies and annual plans, leading digital transformation for Economic and Finance reform, leading the implementation of the Integrated Financial Management Information System, guiding the solutioning and implementation of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) Application, leading the rehabilitation of Ministry ICT Infrastructure, and more are among the responsibilities (IFMIS).
