Bio:

Mr. Alzaki is a Macroeconomic Consultant for the World Bank Group (WBG), Sudan Support Macroeconomic, Trade, and Investment (MTI) Team. He has also worked as a consultant and Research Associate at the Overseas Development Institute ODI. Additionally, he is a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Khartoum and has held the role of Lead Researcher for the International Labor Organization’s ISP Research Project from August 2020 to December 2021. He is also a researcher in the Economic Research Forum’s ERF-FDL project on Stabilization, Adjustment, and Growth in December 2022.
